Sniffing out the mold

Oak Forest business, Mold Pro, has a secret weapon to finding mold. His name is Lati.

Lati's nose knows where mold grows.With the commands "Let's go to work" and "seek," the 21/2-year-old beagle with yellowish eyes sniffs the perimeters of a room, working his way along floorboards, walls, rugs and air ducts.

He sits when he smells mold and eagerly looks to his handler for a reward. With "show me," Lati holds his nose to the moldy area and keeps it there until he receives a treat.
