Testing Services...

"A Conflict of Interest?"….. Certainly NOT!

Caveat Emptor. Buyer Beware! Unfortunately, at this time there is far too little oversight of mold “professionals” around the country. Many states do not even require companies who provide mold services to be licensed, or even certified.

One way to determine whether a company presents a conflict of interest is to determine whether that company is comprehensive in its mold services. Here is what we mean:

MOLD PRO WILL….

  1. Interview the client multiple times to determine water intrusion at a property

  2. Provide a visual inspection of all the "red flag areas"

  3. Provide a canine inspection to document positive alerts for mold at the property

  4. Provide mold sampling services to test the air and surfaces at a property, and then send the samples to an independent, accredited (AIAH) laboratory to determine…·

    • Is there mold?
    • What kinds of mold?
    • How much mold?
    • Is it alive or dead?
    • What health effects will that mold have on the family?

  5. Provide a comprehensive report to the homeowner including water event history, visible mold, canine alerts, test results, and recommendations for remediation, if necessary.

  6. Finally, Mold Pro will provide a written protocol according to the II CRC S520 national standards

  7. Of course, the client is free to collect estimates to compare against Mold Pro

Now that is Comprehensive! There is certainly no conflict while taking the client’s needs that seriously.
